Quick update: Played two $4 High Stack (HS) multi-table tournaments (mtt) last night but had no luck.

The first tournament I was very card dead. I saw some cheap flops with small pairs and med strength hands but hit nothing, in the 3 occassions while short stacked I did pick up something all were split pots! Gutted! Soon after I picked up AJ offsuit, mid position. I had just under 2k with the blinds at 100/200. A player in early position limps (who previously split a pot with me holding AK limping in that hand also) BUT flustered already i decided to make a stand. He calls turning over my gut feeling of AK vs AJ I missed a running flush on the river and I exited 99th and pennyless.

Right calming myself I enter the arena again! Not so card dead at the start. I get a nice start, drama was never far away when the table folds round to me I raised with QdQh mid position with the blinds at 50/100 holding 5800 to 350 I get the dealer calling and the big blind making the pot a total of 1300. Flop comes Ad 10d Qs. I bet 700 both players call turn is a Ah I now check followed quickly by the other two. River comes 2d brutal turn and river for myself but i sure it prob help at least one of my opponents. Angry at myself for slightly slow playing my trips turn fullhouse with a wet board but i dunno i felt danger. I shrug my shoulders and check, the player behind bets 500 then the big blind shoves! Easy fold really but i feel i could have taken the pot on the flop. You could say i got greedy with that flop as a big bet would have got action anyway if someone had an ace. So i fold and to my surprise and irony, the player behind shows a aces full with 10's and the other Ace high flush holding KdQs if i had played the pot to take it on the flop i would have been out. Feeling better about my play i strive on with 4750. 45mins past with a stack of 6200 gained by few small steals but the blinds at 200/400 and 123 players left in, i tighten up to try and pick up a monster. Nothing for that level but trash! But then mid way though 400/800 and my stack of 5000 becoming critical i pick up AsKh in the small blind and everyone folds but the dealer with 8500 straddles in (raises double the big blind) i shove all in, the big blind folds with the raiser calling. He shows AdJh and the flop comes JJ10 5 7 . Finishing 87th i feel it wasn't my day but tomorrows another.

Chilled out by pretending i'm tiger woods on the wii playing the PGA tour lol gotta have my win for the day. ;o)
